The Miami Valley Centre Mall in Piqua was the sight of the annual "Mascot Challenge" charity putt-putt competition, with the proceeds of the event benefiting the Salvation Army of the Miami Valley.
Nearly twenty mascots from the area were paired up on Wednesday afternoon to compete in the event, with local favorite "Piqua Indian" winning this year's competition with a posted score of 27 after nine holes.
The mascot event was the culmination of a week filled with indoor miniature golf at the mall, with the public donating to the Salvation Army throughout the week for the chance to play all 18 themed holes spread throughout the entire complex.
The funds raised through the event will be used for the Salvation Army's local hunger initiatives.
