MCP TV will broadcast the 2010 NJHL All Star Game, as well as the 2010 NJHL Skills Competition and two Troy Bruins exhibition games as part of this year's NJHL Showcase & All Star Weekend, hosted by the Jamestown Jets.
"This is a wonderful way for our league to showcase it's best and brightest talent to the hockey world, as well as MCP TV to continue to develop into Miami County's go-to website for big events" noted Bruins broadcaster JT Szabo, who will call all the action live from Jamestown, NY on MCP TV. Szabo, the former radio call man for the ECHL's Dayton Bombers and USHL's Ohio Jr BlueJackets, has become somewhat polarizing with out of town fans and teams in the league, yet has firmly entrenched himself as a Bruins fan favorite for his excellence behind the mic and unabashed love of his hometown team. "Cincinnati (Cyclones) fans didn't exactly praise my work in the E either...so I guess the Oilers are the new 'Clones" added Szabo with a smile. For Szabo, it's the love of the game and the fun he has with his craft that keeps him going. He agreed with a simple "you gotta have fun with it, enjoy it and love what you do".
Additionally, MCP TV will test out new equipment and technology, aimed at improving picture and audio quality, as well as connectivity issues that have arisen in the past.
