 MAXINE B. WILLIAMS Maxine B. Williams, 92, of 1744 W. High St., Piqua, died at 3:58 pm Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Brookdale Sterling House of Piqua. She was born January 7, 1918 in Greenville to the late Harrison and Norma (Weaver) Buirley. She married Robert G. Williams April 11, 1937 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Marilyn (James) Smith of Summerfield, Florida, Nancy (Marvin “Sandy”) DeBerry of Savannah, Georgia; three grandchildren, Michael W. (Patti) Smith of Tipp City, Stephen D. Smith of Troy, and Danielle E. Bowen Of Savannah, Georgia; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, and a grandson. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Troy High School, and a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. A Springtime funeral service will be announced at a later date.
